When did you start mountain biking? How did you get into it?

I started racing XC as training for alpine ski racing. I ended up being more successful in it and started riding full time. A couple years ago I switched to enduro and recently switched to downhill racing!

What is the greatest challenge and gift your sport has provided you?

Resilience! No doubt, bike racing/being an athlete will teach you to be resilient. Plans change, budgets sink, injuries happen...you have to adapt and overcome.

What's a fun fact that most people would never know about you?

I'm the equivalent of a Jack Russell puppy really. I'm quite loud and hyper, but anyone who meets me knows that.

Why Julbo?

It's a company that cares about the riders!

Sweet or salty?

Sweet. Ice cream and fruits all day.

What's one piece of advice you have for someone looking to get into mountain biking competitively, professionally, etc.?

First: Enjoy it. Second: Race and enjoy it. Third: Be professional, work hard and enjoy it.

When you're not training or traveling for your sport, what else are you up to?

I'm a full time kinesiology student at university, and I enjoy cooking and baking for people.
