Where are you from? Where do you live now?

I grew up in Park City, Utah, and now call Anchorage, Alaska, home. I love the incredible access to all kinds of adventures that Anchorage has to offer and that it’s not too crowded!

When did you start skiing? How did you get into it?

I found myself in 8th grade with no winter activities. My mom wanted me to pick any activity to do as I’m sure I was driving her nuts, and she kept suggesting XC skiing. Eventually, without any better ideas, I gave in and learned that Moms do know best! I was lucky to grow up in a town full of exceptional athletes and had role models all around me.

What's a fun fact that most people don't know about you?

I am a twin!

What's one piece of advice for someone looking to get into the sport competitively, professionally, etc.?

Consistency in training is key to gaining the fitness, specific strength and technique required in XC skiing.

When you are not training or traveling, what do you like to do?

I love cooking and baking and fortunately do a sport that requires a lot of high-quality food to fuel my training. In between workouts, I love to spend time preparing good food and snacks.
